Pride London, the UK’s largest LGBT Pride, revealed today how much it costs to keep the event free-to-attend. Pride London, a registered charity, is proud to have rescued the event and more importantly returned it to being a free event organized by and for the whole community. However putting on such a large event costs money and lots of it, organizers say.
Following months of anticipation, the theme for this years Bourne Free Pride Festival parade has now been revealed. Saturday July 12 will be a time to 'Support our Services' with a fun-filled procession through the center of the seaside town of Bournemouth. Everyone is invited to get dressed up and be part of the parade with organizers hoping to see hundreds of sexy doctors and nurses, hunky soldiers and sailors, and even some firemen too.
The office of Latvian Prime Minister Ivars Godmanis and Integration Minister Oskars Kastens have both said that next month’s Riga Pride and March for Equality should take place in an enclosed park as last year at Vermanes Park in central Riga.
